Closing & Reset
Closing is how we set up the next team for success. Move calmly, do a solid reset, and finish with a quick Team Lead check.

1) Confirm the Line is Finished
- Confirm all guests have completed the walkthrough
- Check with the Team Lead that it’s okay to begin closing
2) iPads + Clipboard
- Power the iPads down
- Place them with the clipboard
- Return them to the Food Shelf area where you found them
- Plug them in and confirm they are charging
3) Return Food Items
- Put remaining veggies back in the cooler
- Put remaining breads and desserts back in the freezer
- Make sure all refrigerators and freezers are sealed tightly
4) Reset the Room
- Return all carts to their original positions
- Vacuum any messes (as needed)
- Break down boxes (as needed)
5) Trash + Recycling
- Take out the garbage
- Replace the bag (replacement bag is on top of the cabinet next to the garbage can)
- Take out boxes for recycling
6) Lights + Doors
- Turn off the two light switches
- Close the two locked doors before you leave
7) Team Lead Check
- Ask the Team Lead if anything needs to be set out for the coming Wednesday service
- Ask the Team Lead if anything needs to be set out for the coming Sunday services
- Confirm you’re good to leave
