Summit Church — Serve Team Guides

Serve TeamTransportation

Transportation Serve Team Guide

The Transportation Serve Team helps people get to church and back safely—coordinating van use, noticing maintenance needs, and keeping the van clean and ready.

Timing (updated): Please arrive when Planning Center indicates and follow any updates from your Team Lead.

Why do I do this?

You serve because Jesus washed feet. You serve because through your gifts and efforts we stay on mission to disciple people, deliver hope and champion our city. You serve because people are looking—like you once were—for a place to be known, find hope and bring heaven to the city of St. Paul.

Serve Team posture

  • Warmth first: smile, eye contact, and a helpful tone.
  • Clarity matters: if someone looks unsure, step in gently.
  • When in doubt, ask your Team Lead.
Always follow Team Lead & staff direction. If anything feels unclear, unsafe, or urgent, get help right away.

What do I do?

Manage and coordinate times when the van is used, monitor maintenance needs, and keep it clean. Transportation to and from Metro Hope Ministries may be included on Sundays as scheduled.
