Hosted VoIP (Nextiva) installs + Ubiquiti camera systems — clean, documented, and secure.

I specialize in getting hosted VoIP working the way it should — especially Nextiva installs — with clean provisioning, proper network setup, and clear documentation so your system stays stable.

For security cameras, I focus on Ubiquiti (UniFi Protect) systems for reliable recording, easy remote viewing, and long-term maintainability. Custom systems are available on request for both VoIP and cameras.

Hosted VoIP (Nextiva)

Phones that ring, sound clear, and route correctly

Typical work includes:

  • Nextiva hosted setup: users, extensions, devices, and provisioning
  • Porting coordination + cutover planning (minimizing downtime)
  • Ring groups, auto-attendants, voicemail, call flows, and failover
  • Network setup for voice reliability: QoS, VLANs, PoE switching
  • Troubleshooting: one-way audio, drops, jitter, firewall/NAT issues
  • Documentation + admin handoff

Need an on‑prem or custom PBX? Custom systems available upon request.

Ubiquiti Cameras (UniFi Protect)

Clean camera coverage with reliable recording + secure remote viewing

Typical work includes:

  • Ubiquiti camera layout planning (coverage + lighting considerations)
  • UniFi Protect setup: NVR/console, retention targets, motion zones
  • PoE switching + cabling checks / “what’s feasible” planning
  • User accounts, permissions, and secure remote viewing setup
  • Network isolation so cameras aren’t exposed
  • Firmware + basic hardening (passwords, updates, access rules)

Want a different camera ecosystem? Custom products available upon request.

Security First

Hardening without breaking usability

  • Prevent common VoIP abuse (toll fraud, exposed SIP, weak admin creds)
  • Firewall rules that allow what you need and block the rest
  • Least‑privilege accounts + MFA where available
  • Segmentation so a compromised device can’t roam
How It Works

Simple process

  • 1) Intake with goals + current setup
  • 2) Clarifying questions + estimate options
  • 3) Install/troubleshoot + verify end‑to‑end
  • 4) Handoff: documentation + next steps

Intake Form — Nextiva VoIP + Ubiquiti Cameras

Share what you want done and what you already have. The more detail, the faster I can quote accurately.

Optional, but recommended for quicker scheduling.
If you’re not on Nextiva yet, tell me what you’re using now.
If you have an existing UniFi setup, mention the console/NVR if you know it.
If you don’t know models, just describe what you see.

Tip: If you have photos of your network closet/router labels/camera locations, mention it and I’ll tell you how to send them securely.

FAQ

Do you only work on Nextiva and Ubiquiti?

Those are my preferred “default” platforms because they’re reliable and maintainable. If you need something different, that’s fine — custom systems are available upon request.

Can you do remote-only support?

Yes — when secure access is possible. Many projects start remote for discovery/planning, then move on‑site for deployment.

How do you handle remote camera viewing?

I avoid unsafe “open ports” setups. I prefer secure methods (UniFi’s built-in approach, VPN, or least‑privilege gateways depending on the environment).
